Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Facility Manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience to manage our client which is located in Porur, Chennai.

The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of success in managing both technical and soft service aspects of facility operations, with a preference for experience within the IT/ITES or Banking sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance of Housekeeping, Pantry Service, Mail room, Safety and Technical services.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management plan to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility.
  • Ensuring that basic facilities are well-maintained and conducting proactive maintenance.
  • Developing and maintaining a vendor base for a cost-efficient procurement of inventory.
  • Ensuring that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations.
  • Lead and motivate a team of facility staff across different dept.
  • Planning for the future by forecasting the facility's upcoming needs and requirements.
  • Maintaining records, the facility, including maintenance data and payment information.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Proactively address facility issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Facility Management, with a minimum of 2-3 years as a Facility Manager.
  • Proven experience in managing facilities exceeding 2,00,000 sq. ft.
  • Experience in managing both technical (Electrical, HVAC & Safety etc.) and soft service (Housekeeping, Pantry, Mail room, etc.) aspects of facilities.
  • A technical background is preferred, but candidates with a strong understanding of technical systems from a soft-service background will also be considered.
  • Experience within the IT/ITES or Banking industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Budget management and cost-saving experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
