Senior Manager, Renewals

Job Location : Bangalore

Shift Timing : 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM (IST)

Rubrik is in need of an experienced People Manager to lead the Renewals Business in North America. Your role is crucial for the growth and success of Rubrik, our customers, and the Renewals team. Your team will collaborate with Channel partners and customers to create an exceptional renewal process that brings delight to customers and drives positive business outcomes.

You will provide coaching and mentorship to empower your team to make a positive impact on customers, achieve strong business results, enhance their skills, and advance their careers. Apart from recruiting, retaining, and nurturing talent, you will design and implement the Rubrik renewal strategy, manage team activities, Pipeline Management, risk identification, and work closely with stakeholders in Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.

To excel in this position, exceptional communication skills, operational excellence, negotiation experience, deep product understanding, and the ability to inspire and lead your team are required. We are interested in candidates located in Bangalore or open to relocating for our hybrid work model.

What you will be doing:

  • Hire, onboard, and develop a team of engaged renewals professionals through thoughtful enablement, coaching, and career planning
  • Execute a 180-day renewal process in collaboration with internal stakeholders to enhance customer experience and maximize contract value to meet or surpass renewal targets
  • Establish a renewal forecasting cadence and deliver accurate summaries to Renewals leadership regularly
  • Lead the team to exceed quarterly and annual bookings plans, surpass forecasted GRR & NRR, and manage budgeted Churn forecast
  • Ensure the team receives relevant ongoing enablement in areas such as product, pricing, opportunity management, data accuracy, quoting, and forecasting
  • Support direct reports by participating in customer meetings, internal account team meetings, and addressing issues internally as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop playbooks for common renewal scenarios
  • Build strong relationships with Sales and CS leadership through regular engagement and collaboration

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of people management experience in customer success or account management
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Clari, CPQ, Excel, and strong analytical skills
