About the team:
In today's fiercely competitive private equity market, companies must not only deliver exceptional returns but also meet more strict reporting standards and growing demands for information from both within and outside their organization. Across the industry, there is increasing pressure on firms to do more, necessitating a clear technology strategy that not only deals with present demands but also enables future growth and performance.
What you will be doing:
- Provides technical support for a software production processing environment.
- Installs, maintains, and supports application/source code and its components, including third-party software.
- Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems.
- Analyses and resolves incidents, problems, or known errors related to failures in application and supporting software components.
- Offers technical assistance to programming staff in analyzing application software amendments, performance, and resource consumption.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation regarding the support of application software.
What you bring:
- At least 7-10 years of experience in Application Support and Production Support
- Strong experience in Open Shift, Unix Shell scripting
Hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud products. - Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of OpenShift/Container Platform.
- Knowledge of Support and Monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace
Application Production Support Experience - Experience in Troubleshooting Incident Triaging, Log analysis, Platform Stability
- Knowledge of Incident and Change Management
- Knowledge of Control M or Batch job process
Added Bonus if you have:
- Knowledge in Splunk would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in troubleshooting Java/J2EE application-related issues.
- Knowledge of FIS' products and services
- Understanding of the business goals, objectives, and business operations for the relevant FIS organization
- Knowledge of the financial services industry
