Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a bench sales manager located in Hyderabad. The Bench Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales process and relationships with potential clients. They will also be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and maintaining client satisfaction. The Bench Sales Manager will work closely with the recruitment team to align client requirements with available resources.

As the Bench Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our bench of IT consultants, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates to meet client needs.

You will play a critical role in driving sales, building strong relationships with consultants, and maximizing revenue generation opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Bench Management:
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified IT consultants to meet current and future client requirements.
Proactively identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
Screen and qualify candidates to ensure their skills and experience align with client needs and company standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, including resumes, skill sets, availability, and client preferences.

Sales and Business Development:


Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and meet revenue targets, leveraging the bench of consultants to fulfill client staffing needs.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting clients, understanding their staffing requirements, and presenting solutions tailored to their needs.

Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in their staffing efforts.
Negotiate contract terms and rates with clients and consultants, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Consultant Relations:


Serve as the main point of contact for consultants on the bench, providing support, guidance, and assistance throughout the placement process.

Conduct regular check-ins with consultants to assess their skills, availability, and career goals and provide relevant opportunities for placement.
Act as an advocate for consultants, representing their interests and ensuring a positive experience throughout the engagement.

Market research and analysis:


Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities, and use this knowledge to inform business strategies and decision-making.

Analyze market demand and supply dynamics to anticipate staffing needs and adjust bench management strategies accordingly.
Provide regular reports and updates on bench performance, including metrics such as fill rates, revenue generated, and consultant satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.

10 years of experience in bench sales or IT staffing, with a proven track record of success in meeting sales targets and building client relationships.

Strong understanding of the IT industry, including technologies, skill sets, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, consultants, and team members.
Proven negotiation skills with the ability to drive win-win outcomes for clients and consultants.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite.
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is preferred.
