Regional Sales Manager in Bangalore

Experience Required: 7 years

Salary: 12 lpa

Work Days: 6 days a week (off on 2nd & 4th Saturdays)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building a current and potential HORECA customer database
  • Creating a system to reach out to prospects and monitor interactions
  • Acquiring and nurturing new accounts
  • Planning coverage areas and team deployment
  • Developing strategies for acquiring new accounts within set timelines

Key Account Management:

  • Execution of account-specific sales plans
  • Targeting account-wise sales goals
  • Negotiating trade terms

Team Management:

  • Collaborating with HR for team recruitment and onboarding
  • Setting targets and facilitating communication for the sales team
  • Providing on-the-job training and motivation
  • Monitoring team performance and providing feedback

Sales Information System:

  • Utilizing the sales information system effectively
  • Generating data-driven analyses for sales planning

Competition Handling:

  • Monitoring competitor activities
  • Understanding HORECA segment business models and success factors
  • Aligning with company's business and sales strategies
  • Market mapping and developing coverage plans
  • Demonstrating industry knowledge and basic financial understanding
  • Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel

Internal Relationship: Maintain positive relationships with seniors, peers, subordinates, and other departments like logistics, accounts, and marketing.
