Summary of This Role

Creates, codes, debugs, maintains and implements applications. Analyzes existing applications or formulates logic for new applications, devises logic procedures, performs coding and debugs programs. Maintains and utilizes application and programming documents in the development of code. Develops application implementation plans throughout the life cycle.

Works closely with onsite end users to understand business needs, writes specifications, performs system and data analysis, implements and modifies systems and creates detailed test plans, as well as providing testing, troubleshooting and support across systems.

What Part Will You Play?

Assists with development of basic code for internal and external client software solutions.

Assists with the routine design, creation and delivery of programming specifications for code development and support on a limited number of projects/issues and gains a basic understanding of the application and/or area as it relates to assigned projects and how the functional area interacts/effects other functional areas.

Gains coding proficiency by assisting others with correcting basic code deficiencies.
Assists with basic application documentation, testing and validation. Becomes familiar with procedures, methodologies and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance.

Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentRelevant Experience or Degree in: Degree in a related field and/or the equivalent in training and experienceTypically No Relevant Experience Required


Preferred QualificationsBachelor's DegreeComputer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or EngineeringTypically Minimum 2 Years Relevant ExpExperience in an analytical, research, or project management environment in the credit card or software industry; programming experience with .
