Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is internal solution partner for METRO, a €29.8 Billion international wholesaler with operations in 31 countries through 661 stores & a team of 93,000 people globally. Metro operates in a further 10 countries with its Food Service Distribution (FSD) business and it is thus active in a total of 34 countries.
MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), Düsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide IT & Business operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. We are setting tomorrow's standards for customer focus, digital solutions, and sustainable business models. For over 10 years, we have been providing services and solutions from our two locations in Pune and Szczecin. This has allowed us to gain extensive experience in how we can best serve our internal customers with high quality and passion. - We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with an unwavering commitment to meticulous quality standards. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our deliverables to the next level with respect to accuracy and customer centricity. You will be charged with complete QA responsibility as defined by the QA manager to ensure that our deliverables are accurate and timely reach the customer every time. Also, the specialist should be comfortable reviewing content that not in English.
- Plan, execute, and perform inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing deliverables to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables
- Suggest solutions to identified deliverable problems
- Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels to meet goals/KPIs
- Analyze and investigate reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with our guidelines and customer requirements
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction. Collaborate with production team to achieve better results
- Develop or update our inspection procedures to ensure that we're moving with the trend, as well as proper documentation and tracking of issues
- Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and discuss mitigations with the production team
- Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
- Collect quality data by carefully maintaining issues and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
- Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management
- Oversee continuous improvement projects to develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all services offered to the customer
- Pursue continuing learning/exploration on new solutions, technology, and skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ year experience in the promotions content/e-learning/publishing house content domain or any other related domain
- Print media experience is a big positive
- Should be comfortable in reviewing content in non-English language like Asian Languages and European languages
- Superb computer competence, including MS Office
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
- A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

- Great interpersonal and communication skill
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
- Professional certification in Quality Assurance

This position will have the freedom to act on the following:
- Deciding with QA Manager/Project Manager if the final output should or should not be delivered to the customer.
- Improving existing QA practices and guidelines.
- Defining new processes and guidelines for QA.
- Suggesting enhancements to improve the end deliverable to the client.
