JobDescription: Weare on the lookout for a Product Research & DevelopmentManager with a strong background in ecommerce and productdevelopment to join our team. While our passion lies in creatingdelightful and educational toys for children this role calls for abroad expertise in ecommerce product research and strategy. As aremotefirst organization we value the ability to work independentlylead projects and collaborate effectively in a digital workspace.The ideal candidate will use their comprehensive market researchskills to drive our product lines forward making strategicdecisions that align with our companys goals and enhance our onlinepresence.Responsibilities ECommerceDrivenMarketAnalysis: Leadindepth research on ecommerce trends and customer behaviorsfocusing on the Amazon marketplace. Utilize insights to shapeproduct development strategies that meet consumerdemands.Innovative RemoteLeadership: Directa dispersed team in product innovation fostering a culture ofcreativity and collaboration. Promote an environment that supportsinnovation and continuouslearning.Strategic ProductDevelopment: Craftand execute product strategies aligned with our vision and goals.Incorporate customer feedback and competitive analysis to innovateand prioritize productfeatures.AnalyticalPerformanceManagement: Useanalytics tools to monitor product performance employing adatadriven approach to enhance quality and customersatisfaction.SupplierRelations andTeamwork: Buildstrong relationships with vendors and facilitate communicationacross teams to ensure alignment of product vision andstrategies.Quality andComplianceOversight: Ensureadherence to industry standards and quality control maintaininghigh product standards and addressing complianceproactively.Financial andResourceManagement: Managethe R&D budget efficiently collaborating with financialteams to forecast costs and assess projectROI.TechnologyProficiency: Stayupdated with R&D technologies and tools to improve productdevelopment efficiency and outcomes encouraging technologicaladoption within theteam.
RequiredQualification
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Marketing or a related field.Advanced degrees or professional certifications in relateddisciplines are advantageous.
  • 3 years ofexperience in product research within the ecommerceindustry.
  • Demonstrated success in leadingprojects and teams remotely with a strong understanding of remotework dynamics and digital collaborationtools.
  • Experience with Amazon and otherecommerce platforms is preferred showcasing a capacity to navigateand optimize online sales channelseffectively.
  • Proficiency in data analysismarket research methodologies and product strategy development. Ananalytical mindset with the ability to make datadrivendecisions.
  • Excellent communication andleadership skills with a history of managing crossfunctional teamsto achieve project goals and businessobjectives.
  • Creative thinking and the abilityto identify unique product opportunities.
  • Aproactive and selfdriven approach with a commitment to continuouslearning.
