In the Media:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional Graphic Designer to create and manage digital and print designs for our marketing needs. The Graphic Designer's responsibilities include managing all graphic design tasks, refining projects and drafts, and generating creative ideas.

To be successful as a Graphic Designer, you should have extensive knowledge of graphic design, styles, and techniques. You should also have experience in implementing marketing campaigns. Ultimately, an excellent Graphic Designer will ensure that the design team promotes the vision of the company through high-quality graphic content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create overall concepts for the best user experience within a business webpage or product, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and easy for customers
  • Analyse customer responses and website data to determine high traffic web pages and ability to do competitive analysis to perform better in the market
  • Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a website or product, from the layout menus and drop-down options to colours and fonts
  • Account for and track the human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design
  • Create surveys for research through various social media platforms to gather feedback on users ease of use
  • Conduct testing of completed applications, websites, and software to Assess user experience
  • Designs for digital elements, to include video editing and gif creation
  • Assisting other teams to fulfil the design requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Skilled in designing new material that fits its target audience
  • Self-motivated, highly organised and able to work to demanding deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently
  • Ability to manage own workload including logging hours and activity on web-based CRM and project management tools
  • Experience of designing for both web and offline
  • A positive and proactive attitude

Educational Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification relevant to graphic design is preferred
  • Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years of proven experience as a graphic designer
  • Experience of web prototyping tools such as In Vision would be an advantage
  • Portfolio that represents a strong sense of typography, range of design styles, diversity of projects, and a clear personal aesthetic
