Note: This role focuses on science and technology. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge in at least one of the listed areas. They need to stay updated on new technologies and apply market-oriented approaches for analysis.

Job Overview

An exciting role is available for technology research professionals to influence our member development. You will lead teams to create impactful research on emerging technologies for client success. This involves traditional research and tailored projects.

As Research Directors, you will guide teams, analyze data for strategic decisions, and drive the development of technology research. Success is gauged by member feedback and business growth in target areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead primary and secondary research on technology trends and opportunities
  • Understand the technology domain thoroughly, including competition and market dynamics
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research projects, analyze data, and create decision-focused outputs
  • Forecast technology trends, collaborate on strategies, and mentor research teams for success
  • Stay updated on industry practices and contribute to the team's strategic direction
  • Manage resources, projects, and team development effectively

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

The ideal candidate has expertise in various fields and a background in technology, economics, or science. Research and consulting experience is a must, along with familiarity in client problem-solving tools.

Other Requirements Include:

  • Degree in technology or science; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years in market research with proven expertise in technology analysis
  • Project management skills and team leadership experience
  • Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools
  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Consulting experience and familiarity with problem-solving frameworks
