Director- Human Resources

The Director of Human Resources at Bhumishould be a People leader who will own and implement the organisation's talentmanagement strategy for employees, fellows and volunteers. They willcollaborate with other directors and managers of both program and platformteams to drive and enable sustainable outcomes.They will plan, lead, direct,develop, and coordinate the policies, activities to build a highly motivatedteam.
Responsibilities:
Lead Talent Management Strategy related tostaffing, recruiting, engagement, development and retention, aligning with theorganisation's culture, values, goals and strategy
Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, andimplements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to supportthe organization's human resource strategy and compliance needs
Identifies staffing and recruiting needs;develops and executes best practices for hiring, onboarding, and successionplanning
Effectivelycollaborate with, challenge and influence program / platform teams to deliverthe right outcomes on people-related decisions, focusing on a variety ofaspects such as Value alignment / behavior, Meritocracy, Productivity,Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing
Identify,prioritize and develop organizational capabilities and behaviours to build ateam that is value aligned, highly effective and future-ready throughstructured learning & development initiatives, coaching, mentoring, etc..
Developtalent to ensure a high-quality succession pipeline at all levels that focus onthe high performing and high potential individuals
Continuouslyreview the organisation structure and relevant operating models to align thesewith the overall program strategy and organisation design principles, using allavailable data to assess effectiveness, demonstrating proactively in surfacingand securing resolution to points of misalignment
Facilitate the administration of humanresource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, andleave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance andtalent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health,safety and wellbeing; and training and development.
Implement and conduct research and analysis oforganisational trends including review of reports and metrics from theorganisation's human resource information system (HRIS)
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices,regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management,and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy,practice, and resources to upper management.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Emotional maturity to empathize with theperspectives/needs of people in the organisation
Ability to adapt to the needs of theorganization and people.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegatethem when appropriate.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related lawsand regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite orrelated software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quicklylearn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience:
Masters degree in Human Resources, BusinessAdministration, or related field required
Experience in strategy and managing HR team
Experience working in Non profit sector willbe added advantage
At Least 5 Years experience managing HR teamat senior level

Scope: Full time
Designation: Associate Director to Director,based on candidate’s profile
Reportingto: Executive Director
Remuneration:Rs.15-18 LPA, negotiable based on candidate’s profile
Age: Preferably below 40 years
Expected Joining Date: Immediate
Location: Chennai (preferred) or Remote
