Job Brief
As the Manager of Global Marketing and Branding, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the brand's reputation and solidifying the client's position as a global leader in the renewable energy sector. Your responsibilities will encompass developing comprehensive strategies and executing integrated marketing campaigns to engage diverse international audiences.
From fostering effective communication strategies to managing social media paid advertising campaigns, you will lead various initiatives aimed at driving brand awareness and market penetration. Additionally, you will oversee brand management, public relations, and social media management efforts while ensuring alignment with the client's business development objectives.
Responsibilities
Marketing Communication
- Lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns tailored to diverse international audiences.
- Foster effective communication strategies to resonate with varied cultural and market preferences.
- Collaborate to synchronize global marketing efforts with local nuances.
- Produce valuable and engaging content for clients' websites, blogs, etc., that attracts and converts their target groups.
- Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies.
Brand Management
- Manage and enhance the organization's brand on a global scale, incorporating cultural sensitivities and market expectations.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
- Implement and oversee global brand guidelines, ensuring a cohesive brand image across regions.
- Monitor and respond to international market trends and competitor activities.
Public Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with international media contacts.
- Craft and disseminate global press releases, statements, and other media communications.
- Lead crisis communication efforts on a global scale, safeguarding the organization's international reputation.
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute performance-driven campaigns on social media aligning with business development initiatives.
- Identify and launch new strategic social channels. Oversee the design of client's social media accounts.
- Create, edit, and schedule engaging content for use daily across various social media channels.
Event Support
- Provide on-the-ground support at events, including in-booth assistance, documenting, set-up, and breakdown.
- Collaboration and Creativity:
- Storyboard and collaborate closely with stakeholders on the creation of visual assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 6+ years of marketing experience, preferably for an established brand with international exposure.
- Proven experience in integrated marketing, business development, and public relations with a focus on communication and partnership development.
- Female candidates are preferred.
- Ability to build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying target audiences and devising marketing campaigns across channels.
- Numerically literate, comfortable working with metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
- Expertise in social media management and familiarity with international advertising trends.
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and creativity.
- Bachelor's degree plus a post-graduate degree in business management or related field.
