The Client & Market Development (CMD) team is responsible for helping partners develop the firm's business, build its relationships with existing and potential clients, and manage its market profile.

Your focus will be to deliver the highest client value through client and market strategies in line with regional objectives and priorities.


The purpose of this role is to support the APAC region to support delivery and project management of client focus, business development, sales support, marketing initiatives, and specific activities related to wider CMD functions.


In this role you will work together with the local and global CMD and marketing teams, partners, lawyers, and other stakeholders, to facilitate the flow of information and assist with the delivery of top-quality BD and marketing materials, provide organisational support on a range of initiatives and work with CMD infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

Regional BD and marketing programs:

  • Working with the APAC CMD team to develop, coordinate and execute regionally focused programs focused on generating revenue and enhancing the market profile
  • Assisting with the production and delivery of internal and external marketing communications e.g., newsletters, intranet updates, website updates etc.
  • Assisting with the provision of clientfocused briefings and market profiling content through digital and nondigital channels including CRM support
  • Assisting with the production of BD and marketing materials such as brochures and contact cards (internal and external)
  • Assisting with all aspects of external clientfocused event planning, including webinars and training
  • Assisting with the coordination and production of directory submissions and awards
Client account management

  • Maintaining information about the regional client program and ensuring lists, team composition, and client requirements are accurate and available to relevant teams
  • Supporting the CMD team [and the relationship associates] in the implementation of the client plan, including tracking actions
  • Working with secretaries to create bespoke client mailing lists
  • Providing general client research/intelligence on request
  • Assist with the collation and preparation of client feedback reports
Operations and infrastructure

  • Supporting and facilitating the capture of matter credentials in the experience management system
  • Assisting with the maintenance of matter credentials in client and marketing materials in global pitch systems
  • Recording and maintaining pitching data in global pitch systems
  • Maintain regional resources including the CMD intranet pages, business continuity, incident management knowhow Public Website maintenance
  • Arranging and preparing for meetings, taking notes, and following up on actions
  • Maintaining regular and responding to ad hoc reporting requirements across financial and nonfinancial systems
General

  • Interface with senior executives; oversee client relationships, respond to and scope out custom requests, set expectations, estimate effort, send MoMs, and manage delivery
  • Support various business improvement initiatives acting as agents of positive change
  • Providing daytoday support to the practices as required
Key Requirements

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with demonstrated service orientation
  • Analytical thought and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent project management, organisational and planning skills with ability to prioritise multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines
  • High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with firm lawyers
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM database programs (in particular InterAction)
  • High level of attention to detail and meticulous followthrough
  • Team player who is also selfmotivated and can work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Enjoy working in a fastpaced environment and be adaptable to change and have the flexibility to adjust work schedule according to workload demands or planned events
Experience
years of work experience in a professional service, matrix organisation, partnership, or large corporate environment
