- Manages and coordinates all aspects of the group inventory management process PMS. Ensures accuracy and timeliness in inputting new, revised, and canceled convention room blocks in PMS.
- Completes daily review of group pick-up report to monitor cut-off dates and availability. Conducts inventory controls to release rooms, extend cut-offs, and adjust availability as per sales contracts or revenue management decisions. Maintains communication with sales and revenue teams for consistency.
- Attends revenue management, pick-up, pre-convention, and other relevant meetings as necessary.
- Handles service recovery for guest complaints related to reservations, providing feedback and support to guests and other departments.
- Assists fellow hotel team members with queries on revenue management in a courteous manner.
- Provides training on reservations procedures when required.
- Ensures accuracy and consistency of room statistics, operational reports, and related documents.
- Participates in property and staff meetings as requested by the Revenue Manager.
- Ensures adherence to property sales strategies and maintenance of revenue management systems.
- Contributes to the development of the revenue plan.
- Maintains a clean work area and hotel environment.
- Keeps open communication with revenue management and front office teams.
- Steps in as a reservations sales agent when necessary.
- Assists in forecasting occupancy levels.
- Performs other tasks assigned by the manager.
- Regularly updates selling scripts for user-friendliness and maximizing benefits.
- Demonstrates a positive impact, taking personal responsibility to resolve issues.
- Shows motivation and commitment, approaching tasks with enthusiasm and embracing opportunities for growth.
