Purpose of theBusiness Development Manager role is to drive sales growth andprofitability within the insurance sector by effectively managing ateam of advisors. This position plays a crucial role in recruitingtraining and motivating advisors to achieve sales targets set bythe company. By fostering strong relationships with stakeholdersand ensuring policy persistence the Business Development Managercontributes to the overall success and profitability of theorganization. This role is instrumental in expanding the companysmarket presence and maximizing revenue opportunities in alignmentwith businessobjectives.

Requirements
  1. Recruitment:
    • Identifyand recruit highquality prospective insuranceadvisors.
    • Ensure that recruitedadvisors acquire the necessary licensing to meet companystandards.
  2. SalesTarget Achievement:
    • Motivate advisorsto achieve sales targets set by thecompany.
    • Provide guidance andsupport to advisors in reaching theirgoals.
  3. Trainingand Performance Management:
    • Conductonthejob training for advisors to enhance their skills andproductivity.
    • Monitor and manage theperformance of advisors providing feedback and guidance asneeded.
  4. RelationshipManagement:
    • Build and maintain strongrelationships with stakeholders including clients advisors andpartners.
    • Ensure effectivecommunication and collaboration to achieve businessobjectives.
  5. PolicyPersistence:
    • Monitor and maintainpersistence for policies procured by the team ofadvisors.
    • Implement strategies toimprove policy retention and overall teamprofitability.

KeySkills andQualifications:

  • Minimum3 years of experience in sales preferably in BSFI Life Insurance orMarketing industries.
  • Strongleadership and motivationalskills.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal abilities.
  • Proventrack record of achieving salestargets.
  • Ability to train anddevelop a team ofadvisors.
  • Knowledge of insuranceproducts and industryregulations.
  • Bachelors degree orequivalentqualification.
