  • We are looking for an outstanding Sales Trainer, based in Mumbai or Delhi, to join our Global Advertising Sales Training & Enablement Team. You will be responsible for managing onboarding, internal product training, and sales skills development for sales and sales support teams based throughout the Asia-Pacific region. These teams are responsible for driving revenue for Spotify's free (adsupported) tier in India.
What You'll Do

  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires throughout the region
  • Work with internal teams, such as Product Marketing and Business Marketing, to conduct trainings on new products and sales positioning
  • Partner with sales leadership to address training needs locally and regionally
  • Design and facilitate skills workshops for sales and sales support teams
  • Conduct needs assessments, build training content, and manage external training partners
  • Provide 1:1 coaching for new hires and sales staff as needed
Who You Are

  • At least 5+ years digital media industry experience, and 5+ years of training experience
  • Strong knowledge of the local digital advertising industry, including programmatic in India
  • Some previous ad sales experience or media buying experience in the local India market a big plus
  • A passion for helping people improve and perform
  • Strong ability to adapt your training style to learners' needs
  • Experience with all aspects of training, including needs assessment, building lessons and job aides, selecting vendors, working with SMEs, and facilitation
  • A successful track record of developing internal relationships with learners, managers, partners, and SMEs
  • Comfortable delivering candid feedback in a professional manner
  • Able to manage and prioritise multiple projects on different timelines
  • Have the ability to see the big picture and to work with sales staff in a productive and constructive way
  • Fluent in English and an additional local language (such as Hindi) is a big plus
