JobDescription:

TheSenior Director of Hosting and Managed Services in thePharmacovigilance domain will be responsible for overseeing thestrategic direction development and management of the hosting andmanaged services portfolio within the pharmacovigilance domain.This role requires a deep understanding of pharmacovigilanceprocesses and regulations as well as extensive experience inmanaging hosting and managed services for pharmaceutical and lifesciencescompanies.



Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. HostingServicesManagement:
  • Overseehosting operations to ensure high availability performance andsecurity.
  • Developscalable and efficient hosting strategies optimizing resources andcosts.
  • Ensureintegration and consistent delivery of hosting services with ITinfrastructure.
  1. ManagedServicesOversight:
  • Managethe managed services portfolio adhering to client SLAs.
  • Maintainoperational procedures for managed environments includingmaintenance upgrades and incident management.
  • UpholdIT service management best practices aligning with industrystandards andcompliance.
  1. PostProductionSupport:
  • Leadthe postproduction support team ensuring effective issueresolution.
  • Establishcontinuous monitoring and optimization processes for postdeploymentenvironments.
  • Collaboratewith development and operations for timely fixes updates andenhancements.
  1. ApplicationSupportServices:
  • Implementand oversee comprehensive application support strategiespostproduction ensuring applications operational efficiency andreliability.
  • Coordinatethe resolution of applicationrelated issues facilitating root causeanalysis and longtermsolutions.
  • Workclosely with application development teams to ensure seamlesstransition from development to production and supportphases.
  1. ClientInteraction and RelationshipManagement:
  • Actas the primary contact for clients regarding hosting managed andpostproduction application supportservices.
  • Buildstrong client relationships ensuring satisfaction and opencommunication for feedback and serviceenhancements.
  • Conductregular service performance reviews with clients discussingstrategic planning andinitiatives.
  1. TeamLeadership andDevelopment:
  • Lead and mentorthe hosting postproduction and application support teams promotinga collaborative and resultsdrivenculture.
  • Setclear goals and KPIs providing regular performance feedback andsupport.
  • Encourageteam development to stay updated with industry trends andtechnologies.
  1. StrategicPlanning and BudgetManagement:
  • Participatein IT strategic planning aligning hosting and managed services withbusinessgoals.
  • Managebudgets effectively ensuring resources allocation aligns withfinancial and operationalobjectives.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelorsdegree in a relevant field such as computer science life sciencesor business administration. Advanced degreepreferred.
  2. Minimumof 15 years of experience with a focus on hosting and managedservices.
  3. Proventrack record of success in developing and growing hosting andmanaged services businesses within the pharmaceutical and lifesciencesindustries.
  4. Strongleadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toachieve high levels ofperformance.
  5. Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to buildstrong relationships with internal and externalstakeholders.
  6. Deepunderstanding of pharmacovigilance processes and regulationsincluding knowledge of FDA and EMArequirements.
  7. Experienceworking in a global environment with the ability to collaborateeffectively with colleagues and customers from diverse culturalbackgrounds.
