As a Lead Product Designer at Keka, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting the vision and strategy for multiple products within the Keka ecosystem and actively contributing to roadmap planning
  • Engaging hands-on in designing solutions for complex challenges, demonstrating unparalleled skills in the industry
  • Utilizing data insights to establish design approaches and promote best practices within the team. You must be meticulous in your work and adept at advocating for your design choices.
  • Collaborating closely with diverse teams such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other Business units to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Formulating, constructing, and expanding the Keka Design System and Design Patterns by introducing fresh and innovative solutions
  • Playing a crucial role in recruiting top talent necessary for the team
  • Effectively guiding and motivating a team of designers, elevating their performance, resolving hurdles, prioritizing tasks, and simplifying complex projects to ensure fast and high-quality outcomes

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in product design roles within product organizations
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end design for a product from scratch
  • Exposure to and appreciation for the dynamic startup environment. Capable of making swift decisions
  • An exceptional portfolio demonstrating a profound understanding of user experience, interaction, and visual/interface design
  • Adept at comprehending the business landscape and the role of design in contributing to its success
  • Ability to ask pertinent questions and delve deep into user problems. Proficient in empathizing with users and forming hypotheses based on situations
  • Superb communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in leading and mentoring design teams would be advantageous
  • Solid grasp of Frontend principles to guide the team from an engineering perspective
