We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior SEM Specialist to lead our Search Engine Marketing (SEM) efforts and drive growth for our digital marketing initiatives.

As a Senior SEM Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing SEM strategies across multiple search engine platforms to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

SEM Strategy Development:

  • Develop comprehensive SEM strategies aligned with business goals and target audience segments.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and market insights to identify growth opportunities.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize SEM campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other search engine platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance, adjust bidding strategies, and optimize ad copy and landing pages for maximum conversions.

Budget Management:

  • Manage SEM budgets effectively to maximize ROI and achieve performance targets.
  • Allocate budget across campaigns, ad groups, and keywords based on performance and strategic priorities.

Keyword Optimization:

  • Continuously optimize keyword targeting, match types, and negative keywords to improve campaign relevance and efficiency.
  • Implement keyword expansion strategies to capture new opportunities and reach relevant audiences.

Ad Copywriting and Testing:

  • Write compelling ad copy tailored to specific target audiences and campaign objectives.
  • Conduct A/B testing of ad creatives, messaging, and landing page experiences to optimize performance.

Conversion Tracking and Optimization:

  • Implement and maintain conversion tracking mechanisms to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Optimize landing pages and user journeys to improve conversion rates and lead quality.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular performance reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Analyze campaign data, trends, and KPIs to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.

Adherence to Best Practices:

  • Stay updated on SEM best practices, industry trends, and algorithm updates to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Implement Google Ads and Bing Ads best practices for account structure, bidding strategies, and ad quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, analytics, and creative, to align SEM efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Provide strategic guidance on SEM implications for website design, content, and user experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
-8-10 years of hands-on experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM), with a focus on Google Ads and Bing Ads.

  • Proven track record of managing large scale SEM campaigns and achieving performance targets.
  • Expertise in SEM tools and platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and SEMrush.
  • In depth knowledge of SEM best practices, keyword research, bidding strategies, and campaign optimization techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Certifications such as Google Ads certification or Bing Ads accreditation are highly desirable.
