About the role:

Responsible for all inventory& costaccounting, includingresponsibilitiesassociated withinventorycost analysis,the monthly financial close, maintaining a strong internal control environment and maintaining the accuracy of physical inventory. This position requires excellent analytical skills,ERPsystem skills, advanced Excel skills, experience in inventory management, and the ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you will be doing:

Ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of month-end close activities for inventory and all COGS transactions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, androll forwards along with required SOX documentation. Preparation and analysis for effective understanding for inventory reserves, inventory adjustmentsand manual accruals for pending RGs. Freight cost analysis against forecast and post requiredjournal entries during month end close. Workingwith Finance, Operations, IT and Engineering teamsduringdesign and implement process and system updates in support of new initiatives with an impactoninventory& costing. Work onyear-endphysical inventory and regular cycle count process with Operations team and auditors. Daily/Weeklyreview of production BOM cost analysisagainst forecasted BOM. Ad Hoc reporting and analytical support for Operations and Finance teams.

Who you are and what you bring:

Qualified CMA/CA/CPA with min2yearsof experience ORMBAfrom reputed universitywith min 6 yearsin Inventory accounting and Cost accounting. Solid accounting and finance foundation surrounding supply chain operations, inventory accounting and procure-to-pay process. Previous Oracleor SAP or any standard ERPexperience is required. Advanced Excel skills are required. Strong communicator, analytical mind and always thinking of ways to streamline and improve processes. Knowledge on Costaccounting and detailed understanding of US GAAP. Strong personal integrity and highest ethical standards
