What You'll Do

As a member of the BCG X A&A team, you will collaborate closely with consulting teams on a wide array of advanced analytics subjects. You will have the chance to apply analytical methodologies to bring value to BCG's Consulting teams and Practice Areas by offering expertise in analytics and accelerated execution support. Your role will involve working with case teams to gather requirements, design, develop, and deliver analytic solutions to meet client needs. Additionally, you will provide technical support by leveraging a deep understanding of relevant data analytics solutions to create high-quality analytic solutions.

YOU'RE GOOD AT :

  • Collaborating with case teams and aiding in proposal development
  • Developing expertise in at least one analytics area and comprehending all analytics capabilities
  • Defining expected analytics outcomes and approach selection
  • Producing original analysis and insights for case teams, often owning an analytics module
  • Establishing credibility by collaborating with case teams on analytics topics
  • Communicating analytical insights effectively through synthesis and packaging of results
  • Guiding juniors on analytical methodologies, contributing to team content & IP development
  • Conducting technical trainings for team members and consulting cohorts
  • Skills: Must possess strong command over various operation research techniques and programming languages like Python
  • Functional skills: Experience in building supply chain models such as production planning, inventory optimization, resource allocation, and routing optimization
  • Communication skills: Clear and confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Analytical skills: Proficient in analytical solutioning and hands-on experience in advanced analytics delivery

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • 4-6 years of relevant industry experience providing analytics solutions in a commercial setting
  • Prior experience in data analytics role within a global organization, ideally in a professional services setting

You will be reporting to the Data & Analytics Manager - X Delivery, collaborating closely with case teams on client projects.
