Job Description

As a business specialist, you will be responsible for developing and managing the Connected Products and IOT portfolio of Bosch Software & Digital Solutions BU. You will manage the portfolio roadmap, ongoing opportunities, GTM, and client relationships, working closely with Sales and Practices. Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the growth of the business area will be the primary goal. Your contribution will directly increase revenue, maintain a profitable business, and develop a state-of-the art portfolio. This includes making sure financial targets are met and that the right solutions are in place to meet the needs of the clients/Market.

Key responsibilities:

Conceive solutions against a business challenge and contribute to the preparation of techno-commercial offers. Facilitate client uptake of MVP or POCs. Ownership of the assigned product portfolio, platform, or geography. Continuously refresh the portfolio to maintain relevance vis-à-vis the evolving market dynamics. Stabilize and amplify running businesses. Generate new business by working with territory sales leaders, business consulting teams, and delivery subject matter experts. Wrap the technical solutions with business models and creative pricing strategies to enhance their overall appeal.

Partnerships and Alliances:

Collaboration: GTM and Portfolio alignment with internal stakeholders Nurture and expand the ecosystem of partners, including start-ups

Results: Booked revenue, Total Contract Value (TCV)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business, marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in lead generation, sales, or a related role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with CRM software and lead management tools.

Qualifications

7-10 years of experience in business development and pre-sales Hands-on experience writing technical and business proposals Customer interaction across multiple geographies and pitch presentation Understanding IOT business and related business models

Scope for IOT Service includes:

Basic understanding of the hardware side of IoT such as sensors and gateway devices. Basic functional understanding of any of the IoT platforms such as PTC ThingWorx, Software AG Cummulocity, Oracle IoT, Azure IoT, or Siemens Mindspehre, would be a distinct advantage. Good understanding of cloud services. Domain-specific use cases of IoT. The domain of focus is OEMs of consumer and industrial assets, manufacturing, retail, and mining industries. Understanding of innovative commercial models SaaS and PaaS models. Understanding of innovation systems and processes. Understanding end-end IOT stack with sensors, edge, communication, cloud and apps Relevant experience of working with global players connected to the IOT ecosystem. Knowledge/Prior experience of IOT products would be an added advantage
