The role:


We are looking for a Finance Controller who will own and drive business finance, statutory requirements and corporate finance for xalts across the company's geographical footprint.


Responsibilities:

  • Own the overall charter of the finance function, manage the reporting, payables and receivables, audits, statutory payments, compliances, direct and indirect taxation, payroll, insurance, etc.
  • Work with our external partners for monthly preparation of the company financials and financial reporting for subsidiaries in multiple jurisdictions as per local GAAP standards & preparation of consol level financials as per Singapore GAAP/IFRS.
  • Preparation of filings for audit & compliance purposes in local jurisdictions.
  • Manage our multiple global geographies to ensure we are compliant with taxation, filing, and other requirements in each geography.
  • Cash management & optimization of treasury functions.
  • Build & manage relationships with multiple partners & vendors including banking relationships and auditors in multiple geographies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified CA/CPA with minimum 5 years of overall experience with atleast 2 years of experience in a reputed accounting/audit firm.
  • Strong understanding of transfer pricing models, local & cross border tax implications, intracompany lending, equity infusions etc.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws and any other compliance requirements.
  • Handson experience in global IFRS accounting standards. Ability to work with multiple GAAP standards & translations specifically India, Singapore, UK & Hong Kong.
  • Accountable and adopts a 'businessowner' work mentality.
  • Has excellent communication skills and can engage with diverse people.
