We are in search of a Territory Manager who is competitive and reliable to assist us in growing our business activities. Your role will involve identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The objective is to not only meet but exceed the company's expectations in order to fuel rapid and sustainable expansion.

Sales Executive acts as the primary link between an organization and its customers, addressing inquiries, providing advice, and introducing new products.

Main Objective:

  • To meet territory growth targets for the Hernia Portfolio in Hospitals & referral centers by educating Nurses and support groups.
  • To implement strategic sales activities as part of a Business Planning model.
  • To offer surgical coverage, Case support for Hernia & Suture Solutions, product and therapy training to new and existing centers, and utilize customer interactions to grow business/accounts.
  • To uphold the Company's quality standards regarding products, procedures, policies, operations, and customer interactions.

A Typical Day

Revenue Responsibilities

·Responsible for achieving sales targets in terms of product units and revenue in the assigned territory to increase the company's overall market share.

  • Ensure coverage of all accounts based on customer segmentation within the territory as agreed with the manager for optimal exposure.
  • Maintain and expand existing business while exploring new opportunities.

Business Management

·Explore new customers and devise plans for customer acquisition as instructed by the Sales Manager.

·Collaborate with key centers to develop strategies for advancing accounts towards excellence in Hernia Solutions.

·Formulate and execute Sales strategies within the Sales Force Effectiveness model.

·Provide necessary training on all therapies to new accounts.

·Promote specific therapies to Surgeons, institutions, payers, and other medical personnel.

Customer Management

·Offer Coverage and Case support for the wound closure portfolio in the designated Territory.

·Conduct customer in-services for both new and existing accounts.

·Establish relationships with Surgeons and hospital administrative staff to address clinical as well as non-clinical requirements.

·Build long-term ethical customer relationships and address complaints following Medtronic policy.

Minimum Requirements

B Pharma/B Sc (Any Sciences)/BE

•MBA would be beneficial

•Computer proficiency, including a strong grasp of the MS Office suite of software.

•At least 4-6 years of sales experience in a technical and dynamic environment.

•Experience in delivering health-related training and education.

•Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills.

•Track record in developing new markets and making multiple sales calls daily.

•Willingness to travel extensively.

Nice to Have:

•Effective verbal communicator and presenter with proficiency in English and Regional language.

•Professional presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication to engage with sales teams and customers.

•Ability to establish credibility quickly with all customer levels.

•People and Relationship building Skills, including Networking abilities.

•Logical thinking and reasoning skills in analyzing market trends and competition.

•Strong Analytical skills during customer interactions.

•Capability to address ambiguity and persist in resolving issues.
