Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to join our product & development team, to help with optimization of our internal platform that manages digital campaigns from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital products, digital marketing, and agile methodologies, with a proven track record of delivering high-value products and platforms that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to capture, analyse, and validate user stories and business requirements for our range of internal tools and platforms
  • Define and evaluate business problems and opportunities, ensuring relevant user stories are documented, organized, prioritized, testable, and feasible
  • Challenge business assumptions to ensure delivered solutions meet both current and future needs
  • Communicate business priorities and ensure development teams understand product vision and roadmap
  • Work closely with development teams using agile methodologies and tools to deliver solutions efficiently
  • Drive requirements definition, create specs, use cases to serve as input into the development process
  • Continuously improve products by refining backlogs, adjusting roadmaps, and maintaining transparency
  • Prioritize features and user stories in the backlog based on dependencies and business value
  • Elicit requirements through stakeholder collaboration and user research to understand business and user needs
  • Validate solutions meet requirements through reviews, testing, and facilitating cross-functional communication
  • Track product metrics, attend reviews, and enable team collaboration to drive optimal product-market fit.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, preferably in digital marketing or advertising technology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, Confluence, azure)
  • Ability to synthesize complex concepts and communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong writing skills to capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements and create detailed technical stories/tickets
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills
