Role Summary:


We are seeking a highly experienced QA professional with over 5 years in sell-side electronic trading, specializing in testing algorithmic and electronic trading applications.

The QA professional will be responsible for performing exploratory, functional, regression, and system testing for front and server-side applications, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, identifying software issues, and contributing to the design and enhancement of automation testing frameworks.

Possesses strong expertise in order management, FIX protocol, SQL, and Linux, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality.

Adaptable in fast-paced environments, experienced with bug management processes, and knowledgeable in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and VeriFIX


ResponsibilitiesPerform exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and system testing of front and server side trading applicationsDesign, write, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for algorithmic trading, electronic trading, and other trading-related applicationsIdentify, report, and track software issues and bugsCollaborate with stakeholders (business analysts, developers, product owners, quants, end-users, vendors, and others) to understand business requirements and stakeholders' needsAnalyze system logs, configurations and other system data using common technology tools for test confirmation and defect analysisContribute to the design and improvement of the automation testing frameworkParticipate in the creation of test scenarios for capacity, load, and performance testingServe as second or third tier support for production issuesResponsible for bug management process and issue identification and tracking (bug advocacy).

Skills and Requirement5+ years of software Quality Assurance experience within sell-side electronic trading or
