We are seeking a passionate and experienced Software QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team in Ahmedabad.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications.

You will work closely with developers and other QA engineers to define testing strategies and implement a robust automation framework.

4+ yearsNotice period : Only Immediate joinerWork Type : Work from officeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a talented and experienced SDET to join our growing QA team.

You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and executing automated test suites for our Python-based applications.

You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other testers to ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test frameworks using Python and industry-standard tools (e.g., pytest, Selenium, Appium).Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented test code.

Perform manual and exploratory testing to identify potential defects.
Collaborate with developers to identify and reproduce bugs.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in QA methodologies, Python testing frameworks, and automation tools.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and tools.(For senior-level applicants) Mentor and guide junior QA engineers within the team.

Qualifications4-12 years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role.
Strong proficiency in Python programming language and object-oriented design principles.

Extensive experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks for web applications (and potentially mobile applications for senior roles).Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, ISTQB) and best practices.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for quality and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Bonus PointsExperience with API testing tools (e.g., requests library).Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Locust).Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
Experience with security testing methodologies.
