Position summary:

Sr. Manager – Supply Chain, IT Application Development - Distribution and Logistics

We are seeking a Sr. Manager supply chain with extensive expertise in logistics planning and execution processes across Stryker division to take a leadership role within our team. As a senior member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing and optimizing logistics system implementations. Your profound expertise in SAP TM, EWM, GTS and other integrated logistics applications will be instrumental in shaping our logistics landscape and driving efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of SAP modules including SD (Sales and Distribution), WM/EWM (Warehouse Management/Extended Warehouse Management), IM (Inventory Management),TM (Transportation Management), and GTS (Global Trade Services).

Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)

Key responsibilities include:

Lead the design, and implementation of end-to-end SAP solutions for Order to Cash processes, encompassing SD, WM/EWM, IM, AATP, TM, APO and GTS modules.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient SAP solutions for Order to Cash processes.Oversee and ensure completion of all business and program cut-over activities, while driving informed decision making for large cross-functional projectsCollaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient SAP solutions.Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance on solution design, configuration, and integration to foster their professional growth and development.Drive innovation and continuous improvement by evaluating emerging SAP technologies and recommending solutions to enhance business processes and drive operational excellence.Act as a subject matter expert on SAP S4/HANA and/or ECC platforms, leveraging deep technical expertise to guide solution design and implementation.Lead cross-functional teams in the configuration, customization, and integration of SAP modules, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and quality guidelines.Partner with business leaders and IT teams to develop strategic roadmaps for SAP initiatives, prioritizing projects and investments based on business value and impact.Provide leadership and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of SAP solutions on time and within budget.Stay abreast of SAP advancements and industry trends, sharing insights and best practices with the team and stakeholders to drive continuous learning and improvement.Manage vendor relationships effectively, including selection, negotiation, and oversight of third-party vendors and consultants engaged in SAP projects.Work with PMO, Delivery Leads, Process Leads, and Change management, develop standards, tools and systems to effectively and efficiently manage the deployment of the solutions across Stryker divisions, functions, and regionsManage the IT budget and guide the business in effectively investing in Information Technology

Lead and guide the business on aligning IT strategy with business strategy.Provide knowledge and expertise to department heads and process owners in identifying opportunities for technology and prioritizing initiativesManage alignment of project deliverables with business requirements throughout the project and delivery life cycleAccountable for leading a team of IT Professionals, both direct and matrix, to ensure IT

standards are maintained

Education & special trainings:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent field required.Master's degree in MIS or related disciplines preferred.APICS accredited or professional supply chain accreditation preferred but not essential.Lean sigma certification preferred (, Lean Practitioner, Green Belt).

Qualifications & experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum 10 years of professional experience with minimum 5 years of progressive experience in SAP solution implementation in management capacity, with a focus on Order to Cash processes.Extensive functional knowledge of SAP modules including SD, WM/EWM, IM, AATP, APO, TM, and GTS, with a proven track record of delivering complex SAP projects.Expertise in SAP S4/HANA and/or ECC platforms, including hands-on experience in solution design, configuration, and customization.Strong proficiency in SAP technologies such as ABAP, PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration), and SAP Fiori.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving business transformation.Experience in vendor management, including vendor selection, negotiation, and oversight of third-party vendors and consultants engaged in SAP projects.SAP certifications in relevant modules or technologies are highly desirable.

Demonstrated professional experience in IT/IS and/or other related business discipline is requiredAbility to understand systems, interrelationships and recommend enhancements, and building IS strategyDemonstrated leadership, interpersonal, analytical, change management and communication skillsAbility to work effectively across functions and build successful relationships in global matrix organizationAwareness of current and future trends in the industry and competitors
