We are seeking a dynamic and experienced BD & CS Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for events and a proven track record in generating new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a knack for identifying market trends and opportunities.
Main Responsibilities -Conceptualizing and offering customized solutions, converting them into business and leading execution.
Meeting revenue target with new & existing clients.
Create business strategies to penetrate the market by creating a relevant database and targeting the right kind of clients.

Responsibilities:

Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the event planning process.

Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online platforms, networking events, and industry publications.
Generate leads and build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.

Client Outreach:
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting activities.
Reach out to prospective clients via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings to introduce our services and establish relationships.
Effectively communicate our value proposition and tailor our offerings to meet the specific needs of each client.

Proposal Development:
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
Develop customized proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
Present proposals in a clear and compelling manner, highlighting the unique benefits of partnering with Ascender Marketing.

Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure new business.
Utilize persuasive selling techniques and overcome objections to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.

Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Qualifications:
MBA/ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.

Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Passion for the event industry and a willingness to learn and grow.
Comfortable to travel and open to stretch over weekend or late night work when needed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Experience:
Proven experience 4-5 years in Client Servicing / Business Development / Sales / Account Management, in the event industry.
