Job Summary:

  • The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and developing relationships with key prospective customers such as clinical laboratories, university teaching hospital laboratories, research laboratories, COVID 19 testing laboratories, diagnostic laboratories, government institutions, and NGOs.
This role involves initiating discussions, demonstrating equipment, and concluding sales. The successful candidate will negotiate with doctors, scientists, lab staff, and purchase departments to secure orders, maintain sales activity records, analyze sales data, and prepare strategic reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement and Sales Initiation
:

-*Identify and approach important prospective customers including clinical laboratories, university teaching hospital laboratories, research laboratories, COVID-19 testing laboratories, diagnostics laboratories, government institutions, NGOs, and more.
*Initiate discussions and provide demonstrations of equipment to prospective clients.
*Drive the sales process to conclusion, ensuring customer needs are met.

  • Negotiation and Order Management
:

*Engage with doctors, scientists, lab staff, and purchase departments to negotiate terms and secure orders.
*Ensure clear communication and understanding between the company and customers.

  • Sales Activity Records and Reporting
:

*Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions.
*Analyze sales data and prepare comprehensive sales reports and strategies.
*Report to the directors on a regular basis regarding sales performance and activity.

  • Event Participation and Coordination
:

*Participate in sales events and coordinate with principals to enhance sales opportunities.
*Ensure representation of the company at relevant industry events.

  • Customer Support and After-Sales Service
:

*Coordinate with service teams to support installation, after-sales service, and training.
*Maintain regular contact with end-users to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.

  • Target Achievement
:

*Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets for the group.
*Set and meet ambitious sales targets, and work to improve performance continuously.

  • Market Research and Product Introduction
:

*Conduct regular market surveys to collect information on competing products.
*Prepare regular market analysis reports and set informed sales targets.
*Introduce new products into the company's offerings to meet market demands.

Qualifications:

-•Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the medical or laboratory equipment industry.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and prepare strategic reports.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
