Role & Responsibilities


The ideal candidate for this role will have astrong background in mathematics/statistics actuarialscience(optional) and data science with a proven record ofdelivering complex data science projects.

Inthis role you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise inLife insurance actuarialmodelling andprogramming (Python/R) to support the development andimplementation of cuttingedge actuarialsolutions.

This role is responsible forworking in a team which works on developing lifeinsuranceproducts developing pricing basiscreating profit test models cashflow modelling valuationmodelsasset liability management solvencyreporting GAAP reporting SCR/MCR calculations andoptimizationEV/MCEVcalculations etc.

Qualifications


oGraduate/Postgraduate in Data Science and Artificial IntelligenceStatistics Mathematics withstrong background inData Science from top tier engineering institute ando Min 2 actuarial exams passed will be a plus.o Proven experience in statistical modelling particularlyin the context of life insurance.o Demonstrableunderstanding of regression classification GLM and techniques likeRandomForest SVM XGBoost LightGBM etc.oStrong programming skills in relevant data science languages e.g.

Ror Python.o Experience range 1 – 3years with deep and firsthand experience in data scienceecosystem.o Impressive knowledge of machinelearning techniqueso Ability and willingness toselflearn adapt and guide other team members in new andemergingstateoftheart technologyo Exceptional ability to interpret complex statisticalresults and convey them to variousstakeholderso Strong verbal andwritten communication skills and the ability to communicateeffectively acrossproduct development andmanagement teams.o Ability to workindependently as well as in collaborative setting.o Translate technical findings to both actuarial andnonactuarial stakeholders.
