About the Role

You will join the Predictive Intelligence & SEO team at Elsevier Data Centre of Excellence. Your main focus will be on the website where you'll collaborate with content, product, and e-commerce teams from around the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Content teams based on site strategy, roadmap, and business requests for strategic and tactical analytics needs.
  • Developing a data-driven decision-making culture to bring customer insights that influence online analytics strategy.
  • Carrying out experiments to test new site features, functionalities, and content for A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Validating data quality, consistency, accessibility, and structure, as well as preparing data for machine learning algorithms.
  • Providing regular and ad-hoc reporting on visitors/customer files, delivering insights, and communicating interpretations to managers.
  • Conducting data analysis and interpreting reports by combining internal and external quantitative and qualitative data through data mining processes.
  • Identifying ways to add business value to data and designing customer interfaces to meet specific needs.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or a related field.
  • Have at least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Web Analyst in an Agile Team or demonstrate capabilities.
  • Possess technical skills, statistical knowledge, and the ability to derive business insights from data. Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex analysis results to stakeholders at all levels.
