Role and Responsibilities:

  • Understand, interpret, and document easy to understand, high quality requirements as stated or provided by clients
  • Document (including process flows) and develop prototypes
  • Manage scope, negotiate requirements, in line with contract. Prepare and complete documentation within estimated hours and timeline. Ensure all stakeholders understand and agree with the scope clearly; prevent confusion around CRs/scope changes
  • Coordinate with UI Designers to develop mock ups, review usability
  • Partner across projects and technologies
  • Actively utilize strong analytical and logical skills; proactively think through the solution; seek clarification before coding; explore root causes of problems before taking action

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BE/B.Tech/MCA
  • CPQ background and admin skills
  • Experience with sales and marketing features in Salesforce, including mobile, territory management, forecasting, lead assignment rules, lead conversion, quote management, opportunity, partner portal, mktg, campaigns, sales and marketing reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Understanding of sales and marketing business processes (direct and indirect sales), best practices and how to implement them
  • Familiarity with partner portal and other ways to engage channel partners, customers in sales processes
  • Familiarity with Marketo, Eloqua, Quoting tools, etc.
  • Understanding of service processes for B2B and B2C businesses, best practices in service and how to implement,
  • Knowledge of customer portals, sites, chatter communities, related to self service and service call redirection
  • Understanding of all aspects of CPQ functionality from a business perspective, including product configuration, pricing, discounts, approvals, quotes, subscriptions, contracts, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Billing types of billing, renewals, cross and upsell changes, etc.; Salesforce CPQ and Billing Data model how rules, options and constraints work. Strong grasp of limitations of CPQ and best practices to meet custom requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to articulate clearly, concisely, and with context at all times
  • High confidence and assertiveness; share concerns and feedback, even during challenging situations
  • A collaborative, positive team member who builds good working relationship with team members; foster a cordial work relationship with peers and manager
  • Desire to continue to develop self and others; takes feedback positively and works on it seriously, Is not afraid of making mistakes as part of learning. Proactively seeks help/assistance as needed
