Position Purpose
The Account Broker assists Account Managers within the team to develop and maintain customer relationships with the primary objective of:
- Ensure an efficient renewal cycle for existing customers supporting all administrative tasks related
- Ensure an efficient new business cycle and conversion for new customers supporting all administrative tasks related
- Support the transition of incoming portfolios via administration, developing relationships and all support for Account Managers.
- Deliver an excellent and prompt client experience
- Ensure the successful delivery of AB Phillips total risk, insurance and service solution; and
- Assist the Account Managers in developing and maintaining books of business
Decision Making Authority
The position holder works under the general direction of an Account Manager in the Strata team. In the absence of the Account Manager this position holder is expected to provide service and support at a similar level within the position holder's skills and abilities. In relevant instances, the position holder is to seek advice and support from a senior team member.
