Directly responsible to ensure all extrusion processes are in control and continuously optimized to produce product in a manner that meets and exceeds desired specifications.

Efficiency and equipment utilization are key factors that will be a measure for success.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Operator_
  • Report to Supervisor any difficulties or problems requiring special attention.
  • Responsible for maintaining the appearance of all upstream and downstream equipment as well as surrounding areas 5S System.
  • Ensures proper care of all equipment especially the managing and proper disposal of all purging's.
  • Ability to use quality control equipment and gauges (caliper, measuring tape, etc.)
  • Capable of operating a fork truck and overhead crane.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand both metric and standard measurements.
  • Capable of using power hand tools and secondary equipment.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to follow direction.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong problemsolving abilities
  • Knowledge of materials and mechanical systems.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct reports.

Position Type/Hours of Work
This is a full-time day shift position Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM.

Looking for someone who has a willingness to work overtime on short notice. Overtime may include needed help on afternoon or midnight shifts.

Starting rate of pay is based on experience. Pay increases will be based on quality of work and ability to work with little to no supervision.
