The Media Ant is an 11-year-old platform for media discovery, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns. We aim to disrupt the traditional process of executing ad campaigns through a physical media agency and replace it with a self-serve advertising platform. Job Description:

Media Planning team

The Media planning team is responsible for providing relevant and custom media solutions to the brands. This includes selection of the right media vehicles, budget allocation, measurement and helping the brands understand the rationale of the recommendation

The Media Planning team closely works with the Account Management (client-facing) team and the Media buying (publisher-facing) team during media planning.

Media Planner

Media planners devise strategies for advertising campaigns so that they reach their target audience and have the intended impact within an agreed budget. This involves understanding the audience, their needs, preferred media and platforms, as well as the brands aiming to reach them.

Education/Job Experience Required :

  • MBA in marketing or any relevant field
  • Overall, 2-5 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-servicing role or a brand management role

Location: Bangalore Onsite

Day-to-Day Work:

  • Internal or client meeting - to understand the campaign brief
  • Usage of media tools such as Adex, Ad clarity, BARC, TMA planning tool
  • Responsible for creating 360 degree multi-vertical media plans.
  • Interacting with other members of the media planning team.
  • Attending plan presentations and pitch meetings
  • Capturing the client feedback and implementing the learnings
  • Tracking and monitoring the progress of assigned planning requests

Must-Have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a marketing role (brand) or client servicing experience in Digital marketing/media agency
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good logical reasoning, arithmetic, and analytical abilities
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel & PowerPoint
  • Quick to observe – Trends in the market, Campaign issues, client expectations, team issues

Good to Have:

  • Experience in working with media planning/market research tools
  • Basics of data visualization tools like power BI, Tableau, etc
  • Experience in digital media planning
  • Past Agency experience
