Reports to:
Procurement Team Lead

Job Overview:

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Research potential vendors
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Liaise with store, material planning division and other relevant departments to ensure all progress of orders and requisition are well communicated
  • Respond to internal customers and suppliers inquiries about orders status, changes or cancellations
  • Process purchase requisitions/ orders within purchasing authority

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
  • At least 6 months of experience in purchasing/ procurement of heavy industrial equipment, preferably in manufacturing industry
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating or liaising with vendors) and has an understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to help create constructive relationships with vendors
  • Must be able to work under minimum supervision, independently, dynamic and fastpaced environment and meet critical deadlines
  • Able to control purchase requisition, purchase orders and other relevant documents
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary:
₹8, ₹29,195.08 per month
