Role: Fee Schedule Associate, Global Billing Function
Location: Bangalore
Background:
State Street has established a Global Billing Function, responsible for client billing setup and invoicing across business lines and geographies at State Street. The organization combines all groups performing these activities globally, including centers in State Street Shared Service locations in Poland, India, and China, owning business-as-usual activities within billing areas while driving process improvements and automation.
Basic Purpose of Job:
The Fee Schedule Associate oversees aspects of the fee schedule process, reviewing client fee schedules for State Street's global businesses. They are responsible for the day-to-day production and review of fee schedules for global clients and assist in creating, maintaining, and reviewing State Street Global Advisors' fee schedules.
Responsibilities:
Business As Usual (BAU) Activities:
- General responsibility for fee schedule activities such as set-up, maintenance, and review
- Work independently with an owner's mindset to ensure efficient deliverables
- Measure, review, and assess performance and progress
- Drive ongoing process improvements
Expectations:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance with 4 to 6 years' experience in fee invoices at a financial institution
- Knowledge of billing methods for services like Custody services, Sub-custodian, trust services, asset management, etc.
- Proven ability to enhance the fee schedule function across geographies and business areas
Skills required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) with advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of billing systems and company-wide financial architecture
- Independent decision-making and thought leadership
- Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and deliver quality results timely
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
