Job Description Summary:


This role requires an ability to write and edit copy for a range of clients, as well carrying out content audits and producing insights to understand a brand's audience and cultural landscape.

Your day-to-day tasks will be varied, but will include strategizing and writing Social Media Posts, articles, reviews, blogs and other forms of online content, as well as undertaking detailed data-led content audits to obtain audience insights in support of content strategy development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute the content for social media based on the digital strategy
  • Identify key opportunities for reactive content based on news, events, and trending topics
  • Creative input on content, ideas on social media viral marketing
  • Write topical, product centric and educational content pieces
  • Ability to write crisp posts for various social platforms
  • Respond and react to changes within social networks changes in functionality, methods of engagement etc.
  • Work closely with the offline marketing and online marketing team as well as the IT/web team to ensure coherent delivery of activities aligned to strategic objectives

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 46 years of experience in writing copy
  • Agency or Publisher work experience will be highly preferred
  • Presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Advertising/Marketing/Communication

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • An excellent storyteller who can create interesting and engaging content for digital
  • Must have handled social pages (Fb/Twitter etc.) personally for multiple brands
  • Ability to write great engaging web copy in a real time environment that can stimulate user interaction, discussion and engagement
