Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply ChainManagement Business Administration Logistics or a related field.Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CSCP CPSM) are aplus with 5 6 years of experience.
  • Provenexperience in procurement sourcing and supplier management withinthe transportation category preferably in a complex and globalenvironment.
  • Indepth knowledge oftransportation logistics including modes of transportation (roadair ocean rail) customs regulations and freight forwardingprocesses.
  • Strong negotiation skills with atrack record of achieving cost savings and favorable contractualterms in transportation procurement.
  • Experience managing relationships withtransportation service providers carriers and 3PL partners.
  • Familiarity with transportation managementsystems (TMS) freight payment systems and other relevant technologysolutions.
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolving abilities with proficiency in data analysis andinterpretation.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith crossfunctional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
