Analytics Information Management (AIM) is a global community focused on driving data-driven transformation across Citi in various functions, aiming to generate actionable insights for our business leaders. We are a rapidly expanding organization collaborating with Citi businesses and functions worldwide.
What do we offer:
The Personal Banking & Wealth Data team oversees the implementation of top-notch data quality measurement programs globally in personal banking and wealth management sectors, providing enterprise-level data management solutions. Currently, we are seeking Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to lead the data ownership program.
  • Establishing and managing data strategies, target state, and defining data controls throughout the data life cycle.
  • Defining enterprise-level data domains, taxonomy, and data classification.
  • Defining data ownership procedures and enforcing data standards.
  • Setting up data usage framework, access controls, data sharing, defining data purposes, and data retention guidelines.
  • Identifying critical data elements and defining data ownership (Technical/Business, etc.).
Expertise required:
  • Requirements gathering from data consumers on data requirements, including specific details, completeness, timeliness, and accuracy specifications.
  • Defining data control requirements.
  • Documenting the purpose of data usage and data sharing agreements.
Tools and Platforms
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools.
Domain Skills
  • Good understanding of banking domains (Cards, Deposit, Loans, Wealth Management, Insurance, etc.).
  • Knowledge of finance regulations and understanding of audit processes.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Exposure to BI tools and technologies such as Tableau, Cognos, SAS BI, or QlikView, etc.
  • Automation and process re-engineering/optimization skills.
Soft Skills:
  • Ability to identify, clearly articulate, and solve complex business problems effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good process/project management skills.
Educational and Experience:
  • MBA/Masters Degree in Economics/Information Technology/Computer Applications/Engineering from a premier institute. BTech in Information Technology/Information Systems/Computer Applications.
  • 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience in delivering Data Governance solutions, with a minimum of 6 years experience in the Banking Industry.
