This individual will collaborate closely with team members to comprehend business requirements, analyze code, and provide high-quality technical solutions aligned with business and IT strategies. The role involves application analysis, design, development, unit testing, deployment support, and maintenance throughout the development life cycle. Effort estimation for requested enhancements is a crucial aspect of the position, in addition to offering clear communication and necessary documentation for system modifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy enhancements and revisions to meet client needs.
  • Deliver solutions as per requirements within agreed timelines, ensuring adherence to company standards and SOPs.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues and clients, evaluating requirements and offering solutions.
  • Maintain daily system support and development activities.
  • Participate in delivering quality software through effective design and code peer reviewing.
  • Engage in the full system life cycle, responsible for design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of application software within set timelines and budget.

Work-related aspects of the position:

  • Experienced in developing solutions using Thermo Fisher Sample Manager LIMS.
  • Proficient in systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.
  • Must handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team or independently on projects.
  • Attention to detail, ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Flexible, self-motivated team player with strong communication skills.
  • Open to learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Strong ability to follow priorities and timelines.
  • Focuses on achieving work excellence and setting ambitious performance standards.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Required:

  • 6+ years of Sample Manager LIMS Development and Configuration.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, VGL.
  • Proficiency in Sample Manager LIMS reporting and workflow designs.
  • Certified technical professional in relevant technology.
  • Ability to be On Call for Global Operations Support.
  • Oracle experience.

Preferred:

  • Agile methodology experience.
  • Solid coding principles understanding.
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Testing and Workflows.
