Information Security Engineer

MRI Software is currently seeking a Information Security Engineer to join our Infosec team focused on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on Web applications, API, Mobile (IOS & Android), Network systems to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks. Identify vulnerabilities including those related to SQLi, XSS, XXE and other common application security threats. Proven experience in application penetration testing, particularly using industry standard tools. Experience using security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Soap UI, Postman etc. Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as OWASP, SANS for penetration testing and cybersecurity. Experience in CVSS framework that assesses and quantifies the severity of security vulnerabilities. Strong understanding of application technologies and latest security vulnerabilities. Good knowledge of how modern applications are designed, developed, and deployed across different platforms. Understanding of OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK framework and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Ability to identify, exploit, and mitigate a wide range of web application vulnerabilities. Work closely with the development team to understand the architecture of the applications. Provide actionable recommendations for securing the applications against identified vulnerabilities. Deliver comprehensive technical vulnerability reports that clearly outline both technical and business risks, include steps for exploit replication and remediation steps. Capable of executing automation scan and accurately discerning false positives. It's good to have knowledge of threat modeling.Qualifications:
Must hold an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification. B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization Strong knowledge of foundational IT concepts Capable of working across various time zones Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent and proficient in English to enable delivery of verbal and written reports and presentations to both technical and executive audience.BENEFITS:
