About this role:

Wells Fargo is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Information Security Engineer to join our world-class team. As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the security of Wells Fargo's IT infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and services. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security systems that protect the organization from malicious attacks. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in security engineering, a deep understanding of network protocols, and strong problem-solving skills. You should have a strong technical background in security tools and solutions, such as intrusion detection systems, firewall configurations, and data encryption. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams. In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security systems to protect Wells Fargo's IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and services.
  • Configure and manage network security tools and solutions, such as firewall, proxy, intrusion detection systems and data encryption.
  • Maintaining and updating firewall and network security hardware and software to ensure adherence around defined compliance norms to protect against vulnerabilities, bugs etc.
  • Research and evaluate new network security technologies to ensure optimal security for the organization.
  • Develop policies and procedures for information security.
  • Conduct technical investigation of network firewall / security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
  • Provide network security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
  • Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting on related security incidents and risk assessments.
  • Review and correlate network security logs to ensure faster identification, resolution issues and mitigation of risk.
  • Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading network security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Train staff on security best practices and procedures. Respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in security technology.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications :
  • 8+ years of overall Information/ Network Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 5+ years of network firewall and security experience (e.g. Checkpoint, PauloAlto, Cisco, Juniper, FortiGate etc)
  • 3+ years of experience in proxy, IDS/IPS and other network security products
  • 2+ years of experience in network management/monitoring products (such as splunk, HPNA etc)
  • 1+ years of experience in automation/software development with Agile experience will be added.
Required Qualifications :

Desired Qualifications:
