We are seeking a

Senior Content Strategist

to join our team and take charge of a project focused on developing product UI content.

As a Senior Content Strategist, you will be responsible for writing and designing product UI content that is accessible, useful, and natural-sounding, keeping in mind human-centered design principles.

Create long-form articles for the EGDS documentation siteDevelop atomic-level content component and pattern documentationProvide product voice/tone guidance and examplesBuild strong relationships with cross-domain content owners to ensure a cohesive product + brand experienceDefine content workflows and processesDocument best practices for product contentMap and source content for new product experiencesCreate polished Figma flows and PPT presentations for content critiques and stakeholder reviewsDefine and deliver end-to-end content strategy for product experiencesConduct content audits, competitive evaluations, and heuristic assessments of product content usability/accessibilityConceptualize, write, test, and deliver in-product content using human-centered design methodsCreate content wireframes and sketches, empathy maps, affinity diagrams, and related HCD artifactsDevelop voice flows and ML/AI prompts and guardrailsWrite long-form articles for Help Center and Destination GuidesDocument end-to-end content decisions in polished Figma files for stakeholder feedback and engineering handoffContribute scalable, reusable standards for content mechanics, tone, style, and accessibility

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Journalism, Communications, or a related disciplineBetween 5-8 years of experience in content strategy and design for digital productsExpertise in writing UI content in American English, with a focus on accessibility and usabilityAdvanced working expertise in Figma, including content-specific plug-ins such as DittoStrong presentation and storytelling skills, including PPT creationCompetent facilitation and workshopping skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft OfficeWorking understanding of headless content management systems and GitHubWorking understanding of AI/ML for content design, including NLU development, designing for generative AI, and prompt engineeringExcellent relationship-building and team collaboration skillsGrowth mindset and first-principles thinking

Experience in marketing copywritingWorking knowledge of SEO and web analyticsExperience in A/B testing and experimentationExperience in designing for internationalization and localizationExperience in designing for chatbots and voice assistants
