Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining API Management platforms like APIGEE
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in DevSecOps, Task Automation, or GitOps
Proficient in developing APIs in APIGEE, troubleshooting API failures
Experience with tools like Postman, Fiddler, JMeter
Good understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service Technologies SOAP, REST, OAuth 20, Basic Auth, JWT, SSO implementation, XML/JSON transformations, logging policies, KVM, Caching
Should have experience in platform support and resolving the PROD and NON-PROD app
cloud engineering experience GCP building effective cloud tech solutions
understanding of CI/CD pipeline

This role specializes in performing remote technical support of MQ and MQ Appliance, skills with Linux/Unix and Windows are required.

Maintain IBM MQ based systems to meet client requirements
Troubleshoot and provide resolution/work around for issues in IBM MQ.
Provide users with assistance in problem determination and resolution; escalate problems as specified by the Service Levels
Participate On-Call support beyond business hours on rotation, for priority 1 issues as necessary.
Coordinate with Level 3 support team for the issues requiring code changes.
What You will bring
Minimum of 2 years of experience with IBM ISB/MQ APIGEE and Micro Services
Experience implementing IBM MQ
Fluent English and ability to read technical documentation Automation and manual scripts
Weekly restart for Apigee's major components
Monitoring Application health
Management of non-Production environment operations
Apply Apigee application specific security patches and updates.
Queue Manager monitoring – Monitoring logs for warnings and error messages
Channel status monitoring – Monitoring channel status to confirm that all the channels are functional.
Queue depth monitoring - Monitoring critical queue depths to confirm they remain below the threshold limits.
Monitoring dead letter queues and share insights with other teams as appropriate.

A dead letter queue is a service implementation to store messages that meet one or more of the following criteria:

a. Message sent to a queue that does not exist.
b. Queue length limit exceeded.
c. Message length limit exceeded.
d. Message rejected by another queue exchange.
e. Message reaches a threshold read counter number because it is not consumed.
f. Setup new MQ environment
g. Creation of new Queue manager
h. Channel creation/configuration
Queues creation/configuration
Application specific security patches and updates
Management of non-Production environment operations
Monitoring application health
Participate with Verizon MQ vendor during product version upgrade and major releases.
