Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will work on the implementation of the business development plan, which includes prospecting, lead generation and qualification, making company presentations, assisting in drawing up commercial proposals, identifying and working on tender bids, and relationship management among other tasks.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Identifying new sales leads
- Pitching products and/or services
- Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
Prospecting
- Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and new business opportunities
- Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about hiring agencies
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Submit proposal based on scope of work
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close deals
Marketing the Firm
- Developing / updating sales & marketing literature to showcase the capabilities, and portfolio of the company
- Adapt marketing presentation based on industry and market study to proactively address client requirement
- Updating the firm website, presence on social media, and other channels that will help in new business development
- Work on generating good PR for the agency to build visibility
- Track and drive the participation of the agency across various awards & contests that help the firm gain recognition
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly performance reports.

- Strong industry network
- Have worked in a sales / business development / marketing profile for at least 5 years
