Position Summary:

ASSA ABLOY is looking for Business Development Manager – Yale based out of Cochin, responsible to generate business from defined territories.

Roles & Responsibility

Actively promote Yale door opening and security solutions among the Architects, Interior Designers, A category Channel partners and achieve retail business in defined territory. Organise Below-the-Line (BTL) activities to create brand & product awareness among the target customers. Identify new channels in unconventional segments, acquire new set of customers through blue ocean strategy, take actions along with channel partners to grab mushrooming opportunities. Train channel partners, shop boys, carpenters, Interior designers, architects on the product features and benefits to resolves the customer problem. Influence the influencers by educating them. Achieve the secondary sales target numbers in the defined territory, through Influencers. Prepare MIS to understand the upcoming trends, opportunities and recommend improvements to management for business growth.

Skills and Knowledge:

Have functional knowledge of retail business. Existing connects with Interior designers, Architects, OEMs, and Contractors. Good communication, responsive, organized, and energetic. Should maintain time discipline and strong work ethic. Possesses a high level of integrity and ownership of responsibilities. Shows high drive for results and execution excellence. Develops partnerships, keeps stakeholders updated on progress of projects and activities on time. Proficiency in MS excel & power point.

Qualification Criteria:

Engineering Graduate. MBA Preferred. 3 - 5 years previous total experience in Business Development activities for retail sales.

Travel extensively in the assigned territory to generate business.
