  • Preparation of Monthly Plant P&L and B/s, MIS, and Presentation to Management: Responsible for preparing monthly Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Management Information System (MIS) reports, and presenting them to management for review and decision-making.
  • Preparation of Monthly/Annually Opex Budget, CAPEX Budget, and Monitoring, Variance Analysis: Develop and manage operational and capital expenditure budgets, monitor expenses, and analyze variances to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Cost Control and Maintaining SOP Standards: Implement cost control measures and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize operational efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Ensure Safety and Security Compliance of All Levels, Statutory Laws: Oversee safety and security measures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Timely Booking of OS & D and Scrap Management: Manage the timely booking of obsolete and damaged stock (OS & D) and implement effective scrap management practices to minimize losses.
  • Monthly Inventory PSV & Reconciliation: Conduct monthly Physical Stock Verification (PSV) and reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Inventory Ageing Along with Non-movable Stock Scrap Report: Monitor inventory ageing and prepare reports on non-movable stock and scrap for effective inventory management.
  • Maintaining Fixed Asset Register of Plant: Maintain a comprehensive register of fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Debtors Ageing and Follow-up for Overdue Payment with Sales Team: Monitor debtors' ageing, follow up with customers for overdue payments, and collaborate with the sales team to expedite collections.
  • Creditors Analysis and Timely Payment: Analyze creditor accounts and ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers to maintain good relationships and avoid disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Statutory Compliance Including GST/TDS/Labour Law/Factories Act: Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), labor laws, and the Factories Act.
  • Liaisoning with Government Authorities/Departments: Serve as the primary point of contact for liaising with government authorities and departments on regulatory matters, inspections, and audits.
  • Job Work Costing Rate Finalization & Material Reconciliation: Finalize job work costing rates, reconcile material usage and costs, and ensure accuracy in cost accounting processes.
  • Timely Filing and Recovery of Benefits of Incentive Schemes Launched by the Government: Stay updated on government incentive schemes, ensure timely filing of claims, and maximize benefits for the organization.
  • Sound Knowledge of Overall Commercial Activities at Plant: Have a comprehensive understanding of all commercial activities at the plant, including procurement, production, inventory management, and sales.
  • Experience in Custom Related Matters Such as Assessment of Bill of Entry, Payment of Custom Duty, Import, and Export Activities: Handle custom-related matters, including assessing Bill of Entry, processing customs duty payments, and managing import and export activities efficiently.
  • Sound Working Knowledge in ERP System: Utilize ERP systems effectively for commercial operations, including data management, reporting, and analysis.

H) Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / CA Inter / ICWA / CMA / MBA with 10-12 years of experience in a factory environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, commercial operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office suite.
