Assistant Manager- Supply Chain Analytics

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to the supply chain, including inventory levels, demand forecasts, supplier performance, transportation costs, and production efficiency.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance the need for product availability with the cost of carrying excess inventory. Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and identify potential sources of supply chain disruptions. Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times and quality.
  • Identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and recommend improvements. Implement best practices to streamline operations and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate the transportation and distribution of products to ensure on-time delivery while minimizing transportation costs. Analyze distribution networks for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze supply chain costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Monitor and report on cost variances and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Identify and assess risks in the supply chain, such as supply disruptions, quality issues, or geopolitical factors, and develop contingency plans.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate supply chain performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 Years of experience in Supply Chain.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with supply chain software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Company plans to install 30,000 myChaiTM brewing systems across India in the next 3 – 5 years giving it the largest footprint in the retail channel in India.
